NetSetGO
The Rossmoyne Netball Club is now a registered NetSetGO Centre and is able to offer programs to children as young as 5 years old. NetSetGO replaces our Junior H, G and F grades and is available to both boys and girls between 5–10 years of age. All registered participants receive a pack which includes a netball, an activity book and a Suncorp NetSetGO T-shirt.
WHAT IS NETSETGO?
NetSetGO is Netball Australia’s only junior entry netball program. It has been developed to provide children aged 5 to 10 years with the best possible learning and playing experience to engage a positive introduction to netball, ensuring enjoyment and continued participation. NetSetGO incorporates skill activities, minor games, music, dance and modified matches in a fun and safe environment. The weekly program is coordinated by accredited coaches to ensure a quality experience for all participants.
NET TIER – for participants born 2011, 2012, 2013
The Net tier is an introductory fundamental movement and netball skill program. The Net tier has an emphasis on participation, cooperation and teamwork. The Net program is delivered in a non-competitive environment and does not contain a game day competition on Saturdays.
In 2018 the NET program will be offered as an 8 week program in Terms 2 and 3. It will take place on Wednesday afternoons 4.00pm-4.45pm at the Koolan Drive courts in Shelley.
SET TIER – for participants born 2010
The Set tier is the first exposure to modified competition. The Set tier has an emphasis on building confidence and proficiency through non-competitive and equal opportunity play. The modified rules of the Set tier can be found as an attachment below and have been developed to provide an environment in which a participant can develop their understanding of the game and achieve success.
In 2018 the SET program will run for the same duration as our Junior/Senior Winter competition i.e April – September. The program will be delivered after school on a weekday at the Koolan Drive courts in Shelley and the modified competition will take place in Fremantle on Saturday mornings.
The SET tier replaces the previously named Junior H Grade.
GO TIER – for participants born 2008, 2009
The GO tier progresses on from the Set tier and also has modified rules that have been adapted in order to provide a smooth transition into junior netball. The modified rules of the GO tier can be found as an attachment below.
In 2018 the GO program will run for the same duration as our Junior/Senior Winter competition i.e April – September. The program will be delivered after school on a weekday at the Koolan Drive courts in Shelley and the modified competition will take place in Fremantle on Saturday mornings.
The GO tier will be offered as GO-G for 9 years olds and GO-F for 10 year olds. Both replace the previously named Junior G and Junior F Grades.
WHAT ARE THE FEES?
The 2018 fee structure is as follows:
NET (8 week program – once a week) $100.00
SET (15 week program – once a week + game on Saturday) $245.00
GO (15 week program – once a week + game on Saturday) $245.00

HOW DO I REGISTER?

Registrations for ALL tiers open on Monday 1st January 2018.
Registrations for SET and GO tiers will close at midnight on Saturday 10th March 2018.
Registrations for the NET tier will remain open until the start of the program in Term 2, 2018.
